Chairman Liu Quanlei began by welcoming the visiting delegation of high-quality industrial enterprises and providing an overview of the Thai-Chinese General Chamber of Commerce. He stated that the General Chamber of Commerce, established in 2001, has consistently operated under the guidance of the Commercial Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand. It actively fulfills its functions of safeguarding rights, conducting research, providing information, promoting cooperation, coordinating efforts, and fostering friendship, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises in Thailand. It serves as a crucial bridge in promoting economic and trade cooperation and exchange between China and Thailand, providing services to its nearly 400 member enterprises in Thailand. He pointed out that Thailand possesses a significant geographical advantage, serving as the logistics, trade, and financial hub of ASEAN, making it a preferred destination for many Chinese-funded enterprises seeking to expand into overseas markets. This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. Both sides will actively promote various economic and trade activities, and we hope more high-quality Chinese-funded enterprises will participate. The General Chamber of Commerce will provide comprehensive support.

The delegation members represent diverse sectors including intelligent manufacturing, medical equipment, new materials, information technology, industrial real estate, and energy equipment. Primarily composed of small and medium-sized private industrial enterprises from China, their presence underscores the strong interest and considerable capabilities of Chinese industrial enterprises in overseas expansion. During the discussions, each delegate expressed their company's aspiration for overseas expansion. Liu Jiangang, a member of the delegation and the leader and partner of the Shenzhen Qiufeng International Consulting Co., Ltd. delegation, stated that Thailand has a favorable business environment, attractive investment policies, and significant market potential. He further noted that the General Chamber of Commerce's well-established service network in Thailand further enhances the confidence of enterprises in overseas expansion.

During the meeting, Chairman Liu Quanlei provided a comprehensive introduction to the "Thailand-China Cooperation Expo," scheduled to be held in Bangkok from September 26th to 28th, 2025, and welcomed enterprises to participate in the exhibition in Thailand.
